Some New Shiny Stuff
I'm just buttoning up the stroker install and some of the other new stuff I have laying around.
First up, the Innovators West OD pulley, a set of Metco pullies and a ThumpRRR 'budget' tensioner.
I had some 1/4" plate aluminum lying around and decided to do a little fabricating. I've always wanted to do something a little different with the hood vents, so here they are approaching completion.
I need to do a bit more work before I paint them with some wrinkle flat black.
The other stuff I added was:
Backup camera for the DVIC
Stainless insert lettering
Door lettering
Color-match mirror caps
#60 injectors
JDM tune
Some additional custom paint work by UAD (still waiting on that)
I'll have full photos once the paint work parts arrive and the car is running.

Teaser shot. The wrinkle paint came out like crap so I'll be redoing that.

More pics are 6 weeks out. I'm getting on a plane in a few minutes and won't be back until August 1st.
I dropped them off on Friday for powdercoating and will be picking them up on August 2nd.

OK, done and installed.
Now if I could just get my blower lid back from being painted I'd pull it out in the sun for a better shot.

Based on all the issues I've had with trying to get this back I'm not sure what he's done, but I asked for the checkerboard down the center ribbed section of the blower lid surrounded by a red pinstripe the same color as the 'Supercharged' lettering.
The drivers side VC had bubbled in a couple of places and he said he would warranty the repair, so I figured as long as I was sending him a box I'd have the lid done. He said it would be a couple of weeks, and that was mid-May. Last week he decided he didn't like the way the VC repair had turned out so he's starting from scratch. Who knows when I'll get that back. That forced me to pull out my FRPP chrome covers and modify them for the AN breather lines, which I finished and installed today.
The next part of the dilema is that I need to be at a job in VA on the 25th, and I want to take the car so I can leave from there for the Nationals the next week in Newburgh, NY. I have not yet fired the stroker, so I need some shakedown miles before that trip, which will be at least 5000 miles.
Anybody here near Dallas, GA and own a gun???

Damn thats a pretty long drive. I am interested in seeing how the stroker turns out.
How long has the car been sitting around?
