Default Any 2V Cam recommendations???

I think it’s time for a little winter surgery, swapping out the stock bump-sticks. This is where I’m interested in some feedback. First, the patient; 5spd, 03 GT / Novi 1000 @ 11psi. This is pretty much a daily driven car, weather permitting. So here we go, AFM, Comp, Crower, VT… Stage 1,2,3...the list goes on. Any recommendations???

I've had awesome luck with my Foxlake grinds. Made 700rwhp and got more left. And they pull 17 inches of vacuum. They are small but work awesome.

What's wrong with an "off the shelf" set of cams? There's a lot of push for custom grinds out there. It's a street car, so some driveability has to be considered and price counts a bit too. I like that you're pulling some decent vacuum blackstang, are your cams a one-off grind?

You'll make more power and get better drivability with custom cams. I don't think they necessarily cost any more than "off-the-shelf" cams. If you're going to the expense and trouble to swap cams, do it right.

I'm with flemming. I prefer a custom grind.

That cam I'm using is fine for a street car. Like I said 17 inches of vacuum at idle.

There are a lot of custom grinds out there for only 40 more or so then the off the shelf item. All I can tell you is my Foxlake grinds made way more power then my Crane's.

Custom grinds usually cost the same as off the shelf sets, so you might as well get some made that fit your setup or future plans perfectly

For companies I'd look at houston performance

u NEEED to call Nick at Modular Head SHop!! he knows more about 2v heDS AND CAMS THAN ANYONE IVE EVER TALKED TO. he is the man when it comes to cams. He has spent most of his time researching the 2v and what its potentials are and how to make them happen. His blower cams are great and good priced too.MHS the only way to go with cams for sure.

How many other places have you talked to? Have you ever talked to anyone at Houston Performance? They'd probably blow you away too.
