I've really been considering doing a mild cam and nitrous install on my GT. So far, I'm pretty much full bolt-ons with an SCT dyno tune, and I'm pushing 260rwhp. I'd like to get up in the 3xx range, but here's where I worry. I'm running a stock bottom end, with about 120k on it. The motor was well taken care of, with service records written in the owners manual, but still what's the risk of me blowing this thing up? I'm not looking for an extreme cam or a 250 shot of nitrous or anything, I just want something to wake this car up a little.

I do have plans for a full-out boosted 4v motor build, but its not likely for the next year at least. Should I wait it out and enjoy the car as is, or will I be safe daily driving the car with a mild cam and maybe a 75-100 shot of nitrous? Opinions are welcome.
