Power is currently a guess. The last dyno was 403 before I did the heads, cams and blower porting. I did a before and after comparison with the g-tech, using a second gear pull averaged over three runs. Backing out the power number based on the change in acceleration puts it somewhere around 475 currently. JDM expects around 550 after the next round, which I will check after the Nationals in their shop.
I do know there is substantially more power lower in the band, because I made a seat of the pants discovery driving up I70 into the mountains. Before the heads it was a struggle to drive 65 in 5th (7% grade @ 6-8K ft) because I was too low in the band. I think that's about 1500-1600? After the heads it still pulled up the hill from 1200 after somebody slowed in front of me.

Re: Worlds longest thread for Amateurs
What's included in the next round? I would be pretty concerned going more than 475 without upgrading the internals. Ive seen at least three blown motor threads on other forums in the last week.

Saleen forged Stroker and Innovators West overdrive pulley that should put me at 10 psi. And #60 injectors and a Exedy clutch.
No NOS, ever! I don't need to take those kind of chances for the power I need. I'm old school and an engineer - do it through efficiency.

That will be a nice setup. I was looking into the saleen stroker kit. That will probably be my next mod as well. Just depends on when Ill get around to doing it. Let us know when this next round comes along

Threw out the spare, one piece driveshaft, BMR everything. All told that should be about 100 pounds out of the car, or just enough to balance out the addition of the SC.
