Default Built the "Bug-Out" Trunk. Check it.....

Okay folks, So I pretty much have the ol' "custom" trunk built. Cleaned and fitted the carpet today, got some trim made up for the little plexiglass window, just gotta get it put on, but essentially she's all done. I'll post up some COMPLETE pics, but here's some progress shots...and what I've done so far.

Gotta give props to Dred for inspiring me here. So thanks man.

Here's the battery....

Used a started solenoid from a '65 Mustang for a terminal. :P Lil' nostalgia for yah

Where I ran ze' wire...(passenger side fender well)

Rhino-Lined and rubberized the trunk where all this business is going to be goin' down...

Building the box...Also Rhino-Lined and rubberized this for durability. Modified and cut up some ball bearing drawer rollers for the slider door.

Yes, that's a seatbelt...again I like modifying things to do other things

Here's the set up "pretty much" done. Lacking trim. I'll get some updated one up when I'm all done. (sorry for the shyt quality on some of these)

That's a cellphone battery charge symbol :P *shrug* thought it was funny.

I'm posting other stuff I've done to the car over in the "I'm getting bored, need to switch it up thread."
Hope you like!

damn clean setup. Looks great! I actually like the batter symbol that looks good. I didnt know you also had a BAP. You arent worried about taking out the spare? I was thinking about taking mine out to put a custom audio setup down there but Im back and forth on the spare.

The spare only works on the back of my car, it wont fit around my 15" rotors. So...I mean it's "50% useless" lol. And I've got fix-a-flat. I'm not too worried :P

That looks really good. You should just start making everything custom, start a shop up.

Nice work Hoss! The other stuff in my trunk is a 12 volt compressor and a tire plug kit, both of which have come in handy a couple of times.

I never tried the spare over the 14" rear rotors, but I knew it wouldn't fit up front!

I never thought of that. So the spare for sure doesnt fit over the 14" brakes?

It may fit over the 14's but I can tell you from experience it doesn't fit 15's
