New to the forum.

Name is Jake and I am a senior in high school. Own a 1967 Mustang Coupe with original 6cyl 200 modified. It is currently getting a big makeover and hope to have it done before the summer. Also hoping to finally get a 1st place trophy. I've gotten 3rd and 2nd, just need a 1st place one to finish it off.

Here is the most recent picture. It is currently in the body shop getting finished and ready for a second coat a primer. I was going to get eleanor scoops put on, but got word today that they ones I bought are too messed up to work with. So I am putting the stock scoops back in.

Looks good are you just getting another coat of primer or is it getting painted?

I am going to have it painted at the beginning of February. The door jambs, doors, and parts of the body will need another coat of primer since I still have stuff left to do.

I'm looking at painting it either Candy Blood Red or a variation of the stock Candy Apple Red.

nice! I like the stance. Those rims and paint are going to look good! Post some pics up when you get that done!

That picture is with the old coils. The new ones made it 2" higher. I plan on lowering it even more once I get my new rims.

Looks like I am getting custom made side scoops since my eleanor ones won't work. Probably a decent chunk on money for them.

Why do you need custom side scoops? The aftermarket eleanor ones dont work?

Passenger side eleanor scoop could be made to work, but the drivers side was too far messed up. Said he would have to completely rebuild that scoop to make it work. Would be easier to just chop them up and use parts of them for custom scoops. The scoops should be similar to the GT/CS scoops.

Hopefully it will get a turbo system put on before my first car show, but I am not to sure.
