Anyone going to buy/trade in for the 2011?

Just looking to see if anyone is interested in getting the 2011 Mustang. That 5.0 is looking pretty sexy.

ehh. Ill stick with my 06 for now. Prices on the 2011 will be up there Im sure. Ill wait a few more years.

My usual complaint/concern with brand new cars is all the kinks. Is this 5.0 the same classic 302 that's been around for ages, with a little bit of modern technology? I'm just scared they're gonna have some recalls and what not. But heck who knows, Ford really seems to have gotten their crap together lately. And putting out some quality stuff.

Speaking of I really wish they would bring the Focus RS to the states...that car is freakin' awesome!

the new 5.0 is not based on the pushrod 289/302 of old. It is a pretty good replacement of the 4.6/5.4 mod motor with a lot of trick stuff in the cam/valve timing. It is closer to the mod motor than the Windsor but has DOHC and 4 valves. I'm seriously tempted to get one. I have been wanting a newer Mustang since the 05 came out. The new 5.0 might just be the one! here is a good link about the engine and development.

I thought about trading in. But that would just be more money to owe. And like Allshow said with the recalls and all the usual crap, i'd wait for them to get all that figured out.

I will own the Saleen until it's wrecked or three days after I die; likewise my Ranger. I don't really need a third vehicle, which I'd have to start modding anyway.

If I was ever going to buy a car that I was just going to drive it would probably be one of these, but I'm closing in on 60 and haven't done that yet, so it's probably too late to start now!

i'm 37 i have six kids ages from 14 yrs. to 9 mo. my wifes a stay at home mom and i work two jobs. i'm already broke. more of a build on a budget kind of guy. i don't see a new mustang in the future unless i receive a winfall of some kind.
