This 3rd Generation Mustang is an original numbers matching car. In '86 Ford created 224,410 Mustangs. Out of those only 22,946 were convertibles. Of those created as convertibles, only 9,887 were GT Mustangs. That number drops to only 611 for the LX/GT Mustangs ,which came with the Silver Metallic (1F) paint you see on this ride. The options inside the car could very well drop those numbers even more with power locks, power windows, tilt wheel, A/C, cruise control, leather interior and more.The aftermarket sound system compliments these original amenities,and does not detract from the collector value of this car,as they were professionally,but more importantly,tastefully installed.The 17"chrome Cobra R wheels add a touch of that "custom" look, yet still manage to hold a little "originality" for those purists out there.

Don't let the subtle appearance fool you, theses babies came ready to roll. The legendary "M" code - 5.0 liter V8 was a 302 CID featured EFI for the first time in this model and was rated @ 200 hp conservatively. To allow the factory headers and converters to breathe, a flow master true dual exhaust system has been added. Lowering springs have also been installed to give it a little meaner stance.
