79' Mustang Turbo coupe.

ok guys i found a 79 Mustang ghia. turbo 4cyl 4speed in a backyard. the owner has had it most of its life. its a little rough around the edges but the engine has been rebuilt. My question to the almight mustang guru's is how many of these cars were made? and how many were coupe style? and even more rare how many were in 6N yellow? i don't want to trash a car that could be a collector just to build a hotrod.
he also has a extra 4speed trans. german for the turbo 4cyl. cars, and a 4speed trans from a 78 mustang II. picked up but wrong type. if anyone is interested in the trans' cheap you pay the shipping IM me i'll get in touch with the guy. i charge nothing for my services.

If its a notch there were 56,351 made
If its a hatch there were 36,384 made

I did a little google search but couldnt find how many were made with specific color options. I would go ahead and hotrod it either way though.

well the guy is thinking it worth more than 500 so its more than i want to pay. but whiie i was out junkyard shopping. i found a 65 or so shell with solid quarters. no doors or front fenders.

still on the hunt. i called a guy in spokane wa. that had a 88 fox body on craigslist but he hasnt returned my call. i keep finding cars but not in my price range.
