While browsing around the Saleen site I came across news of the 2010 Brenspeed Saleen Speedlab Racecar that was built to compete in the 2010 National Mustang Racing Association series (NMRA). Back in March Saleen Performance and Brenspeed debuted this NMRA racecar to be driven by Brent White for nine NMRA events this season. The racecar features a Brenspeed all-aluminum B302 engine with a Saleen series VI.5 supercharger and a Saleen Speedlab body kit upgrade. The engine was tuned by Brenspeed which delivers over 600 horsepower. "Saleen and Brenspeed have partnered for the 2010 season because we have common goals," said Speedlab Director Jess Albright. "Brenspeed has a great presence at the track and they’re extremely willing to help people on and off the track. We work closely with them to satisfy customers’ needs for high-performance vehicles.”
Some day... a gutted APR widebody S197 with a sc'd 5.0L engine. For now, I'm trying to avoid swerving into oncoming traffic just to get rid of my Saturn.
