Default Best place to buy a classic?


Just wanted to see where people are looking to purchase a classic mustang. I have been primarily looking on craigslist and a little on ebay. Anyone have an other resources?

good old deals on wheels mag. i used to love looking at that. check the upper midwest on craigslist. i have seen a few on there in montana that don't look to bad.

yea I have seen mustang beginnings before. They have a lot of projects but are way overpriced. There is a 65 fastback complete rust bucket on there for $9500. I dont even think anything on that car is salvageable, even the frame.

I think we should make a list of online mustang classifieds ranging from best to worse and make it a sticky.

Here is what I have so far.

1. craigslist
2. Auto Trader classics
3. ebay
4. mustang trader
5. deals on wheels
6. mustang beginnings
7. ???

i agree with you on the mustang beginning being outrageously priced maybe for a rare find. but not for a car that was $4500 new.
