Default Racing seats in a classic

When I bought my car it came with two corbeau racing seats that look good and I think will work in my interior untill I decide I want to do a real restore or something however the issue I am having is that the seats (with sliders) do not bolt onto the seat risers. I've seen several options to remedy this one being a custom complete slider kit to fit the mustang from corbeau for a hundred bucks a side or the cheaper adapter from them for only thirty bucks. My question is 1) has anyone here done this and what issues have you run into and 2) what way should I go do they work fine with the adapters on the stock risers or stop pinching pennies just get the complete kit. Thanks alot for the help.

So the stock sliders fit onto the seat with out any need for an adapter? My real issue is I don't have the stock sliders so I'm either gonna use the corbeau ones on the seat or have to get some new ones. Sorry for all the questions but just was looking to get it right don't want the seat to come off while driving. By the way love all three cars.

The biggest problem I encountered putting Summit Sport seats into my '71 was the seat height. If I adaped the slider kit that I purchased with the seats to the stock seat platform, or adapted the stock sliders to the new seats, the seat sat too high. It was only an extra inch or so, but I'm 6'2" and that put my head in the roof. I had to remove the stock seat platform and fabricate a new one to work with the new sliders. I even gained an inch of headroom and another couple inches of leg room. It wasn't hard but there was alot of "head scratching" time.
