Default Hello Classic Mustang Fans

Hey all,

As you can see by my status I am new here and I wanted to introduce myself.

I have been a fan of classic mustangs since before I could drive and have only owned one (1965 with a transplanted 302 3 speed) and I am looking forward to my next pony. I am currently deployed overseas and I have been looking for a 1968 to restomod. Hopefully I can find a decent one (at a good price) that runs to putt around in until I am ready to dive into it. If anyone has some good hints on where to look other than craigslist or Ebay I would appreciate it. I live in Florida when I am not deployed and prefer to get one close to there if possible. If not I will be willing to travel a bit to find that one that spurs me forward.

Thanks for being here folks and I hope to talk to you all soon.

welcome! I always look on craigslist. There is usually a good amount of classic mustangs for fair prices on there. I have also found some good ones on the ebay classifieds section. I dont really like the auction stye of ebay when buying a car since there is a time constraint and fees and all that crap.

anyways good luck finding a 68!

Thanks David. I looked on the local craigslist and found a couple for decent prices. I just hate being 8000 miles away and 5 months out from coming home so I can find one.
