Default Forged internals...

I know putting in forged internals is good for extra protection for pushing the boost on superchargers, but for a noob like me to this stuff can you give me and idea of what to do exactly and how much $$$ including labor??

You're looking at about 5 grand for a good forged motor. That's block, crank, rods, pistons, and install labor. I've heard of some people re-using the stock block and crank, and just upgrading the rods and pistons. Not sure what that would cost, or if it's a good idea.

At least $5k. Prob more like $8k. Forged shortblocks are about $5k. Labor will be a lot as well. You will also need an upgraded fuel system and a few more things

Im in the same boat

I'm trying to figure out whats best.. patch my block and buy better pistons, vavlesprings, crank, rods . etc and have someone slap it together or get that MMR small block for 2699 and have them install that.. which in the long run will be cheapest.. I believe both will let me do 600-700hp unless the patch on the block dont hold. I just dont know.. I feel like I'm back in high school a day before a big test I didnt study for...

It gets pretty pricey. I have considered the same thing but after awhile it doesnt seem worth it price wise for me. It will most likely be around $8k
