Default mustang on a local lot

i found a 06 mustang 4.0 auto power windows, locks a/c cd leather alloys. on a local lot for sale. 72K on the dial. the front has been repainter the hood has definate discolored metalic. and you can see the blend marks on the door and a-post. fender bolts and hood hinge bolts show signs of removal.
my question is what is a fair offer? are there underlying issues i should look for? and what type of aftermarket is out there for the V6 ?

I would start at like $7k or $8k and go from there. the discoloration will help lower the price. Since it was hit, does it have a clean title? Not salvaged?

06 V6 coupes seem to be selling around $9k-$15k

here in montana a dealer can't sell a car with a salvaged title. they said there is a carfax but i didn't go that far. i called my bank and they said that i could get 80% of book value and low book is about $9350.00

Your bank sounds right. Oh and there is plenty of aftermarket for the V6. They even have some superchargers out there for the V6
