Default Mezire water pump

My water pump is leaking after all the abuse of bent/broken tenioners and tossed belts this summer before I finally broke down and bought the Thumperrr tensioner (3rd greatest thing ever made...just under boobs and pizza). I'm looking at putting on the Mezire water pump that Brenspeed has listed on their website before the track opens again in March. Anyone running one? Do you like it? Pros/cons of running an electric pump? Does it overload the stock alternator and should I plan to upgrade that as well? Any feedback from users of this setup would be much appreciated.

Ive been running one for 6 months, zero problems. I am a little extra carefu so I have 2 redtops. One in trunk, and one in factory location (at the track, I remove the one under the hood).

Living in South Louisiana, I want a little extra safety to make sure I dont loose voltage (daily driver, ac, radio, lights, wipers going.... maybe leave a interior dome light on ) and have a cooling issue.

dont really have any experience with the electric water pumps but I believe you can get a high flow water pump also. I would almost prefer a simple high flow mechanical pump over electric to simplify things a little. I would be nervous if there were some electrical problems and it overheated.

i ended up putting a standard water pump back on. was my cheapest option and didnt want to tackle the electric water pump at the time. possibly down the road but I havent had any issues yet.
