I'm not a huge fan of any hood pin. I have had 2 sets maybe 3 can't remember now on my Mach and they all seem to start rusting the moment I slide the key through the pin. (its the Key that seems to rust). I have never seen any ones car that had pins that didn't have some marking on the paint.

Now I am using pins made for a 69 and the newer type may wor alot better.
