oil seperator for supercharged cars
What one is best for the $$?? Is the UPR one any good? I'm sure that my car is/will be having blow by issues since it now has a Saleen supercharger on it. Rated at 475 hp....doing a upgrade soon! thanks for any helpful info.

I used the Moroso setup. MMR offers a kit for $129, which includes about $5 of tubing and a $79 Moroso separator that can be bought from Summit Racing.

connect a hose from your PCV and go. I installed mine inside the fender because I don't have any room in my engine comparment, but unfortunately it isn't the most convenient to access and drain...

I have the Steeda oil separator on my whipple set up that I bought when the car was procharged. Where is the best place to put one on the Whipple set up? Obviously mine is not doing the job where it's at right now.

I've had the Stef's catch can on my car for over a year and I'll be damned if there is any oil in that can.
I've been thinking about just taking it off since it doesn't seem to do anything anyway.

Some cars, if you have just a catch can that does not lead back to the intake, will not get any collection in them. If you hook a PCV back up though it probably will. Its because of your motor being really tight, and not having vaccum on the valve covers. I would leave it just like it is.

Mine just came with the can and its mounting bracket. No hoses, but they're cheap. I'm pretty happy with this unit, especially when I'm under the hood with the engine running and can see the fumes coming out.

I had the UPR separator for a while and it collected huge amounts of oil. As you may have read, I've since switched to a breather, but from my experience with the separator, I can say you probably have yours hooked up wrong. I had mine on the driver's side, in-line with the PCV system.
