Default 150+ Anyone

I burried the needle at 145+ yesturday for about 10 seconds before I lost my nerve. I think It was around the 4300 RPM range I dont rememeber looking. Car felt pretty sound the hood wsnt rising and I could tell the car hasd a ton left in it. It didnt feel like it started to lift or anything like that.

That's pretty fast. I've only dared to take it up to about 125 for a few seconds. The car is stock, and it felt good, and didn't notice much hood lift - maybe because it was night time.

I was on the way home and a new STI decided to race me and I gave it all it had. 150 easy. STI was drafting me and tried to go around as soon as he hit all the air at 150 he was done I started to pull away.

I've been up there a couple times. I do 120+ a few times a week. If I had a more open road, I'd try for a lot more.

I haven't had mine up that fast - maybe 125. Funny though, my hood has never twitched at all, yet many folks seem to report their hoods fluttering as low as 80mph.

lol yall are nuts. Ive hit 125 on the highway a few times and that was enough for me. The hood flutters and the live axle just scares me over bumps and imperfections in the road going that fast. I dont trust the suspension enough I guess, heh.
