Default 15 inch wheels for the track

I was thinking of going to a 26x10x15 MT slick and was wondering what wheels everyone was running or what spacer I could get away with. At first I was thinking of just going from the 275/40/17 radial to the ET street 26.5x10x17 but was thinking the extra sidewall in a 15 could help and a slick should bite a little better. Thanks

If you have the coin to drop $400/wheel then Bogarts, Holeshots, or Weld R/T series wheels are your best bet.

I'd have to agree.

track only Bogarts are top of the line 15 x 10 with proper BS and spacer welded on

then Holeshots with separate spacer work well

most others are either 15 x 8 and or require grinding of the calipers

If you want a 15x8 the Jegs or Summit wheels work. If you want a 15x10 then you get into the mondo expensive categories of the Bogarts, Holeshots or Weld R/T's because you need a 7.5 Backspace AND large clearance for the calipers.

1/8 spacer just to be safe... you'll be launching harder, and if you break axel gear (like I did), and do not have much clearance... rear lock up and send you spinning.

1/8 spacer = cheap insurance/safety

I just bought the Jegs 15X4 sport lites and I needed to put on a 1/2" spacer on the front to clear and I did not grind. The reares I had to grind, I believe it is the caliper cage or brace the part of the caliper that is on the very front but did not grind on the caliper it self plus I had to run a 1/8" spacer
